I was very excited to be invited  by Laurie Brainerd of Fiber Art Space in San Antonio to do a show featuring Mine and Pamela Hasting's Dolls. My story and dolls were included in Pamela's Book "Doll Making as a transformative process" and although we have known each other for many years this is the first time we have shown our dolls together. Pamela and I have shared the view that the doll making process can help us tap into our creative centers and  transform our lives. My doll making has always been and continues to be a healing process. Each doll is a new opportunity to investigate new avenues of expression, to journey to the edges and find a new story. Pamela and I have always let our dolls tell our stories and so the show, so aptly called "Figuratively Speaking", was a great oppourtunity for me to share space with this great friend and artist.
