I think of my work as conceptual art, in which the idea or concept is at the forefront of the piece. My
works begin as an idea, a concept, a vision and my choices of techniques and materials are the tools
and raw materials that bring those concepts to fruition. I have found this process to be both a process for inner growth and healing as well as a personal attempt to express my visions and ideas.
In the end my artwork contains both a personal and a universal message, in hope that others may see their ideas, concepts and visions in them as well.
I work in a variety of media including paper clay, polymer, papier mache, fabric, found objects, natural objects as well as a variety of painting mediums and computerized graphics. It is the inter-play of these mediums that bring the textures, forms and colors to my artwork.
All of my art pieces are one-of-a-kind originals. Each piece is a new experience, a new revelation drawn from that mystical place we call the creative soul and each piece never fails to surpise even me.
