Although born in Michigan Rosie has spent most of her life in San Antonio, Texas where she lives and works today with her husband David. She shares her time with her daughter  and two grandkids as well as her sisters and brothers who all live in San Antonio.

Rosie has been making dolls for over 25 years working with mediums such as polymer clay, stone clay, paper clay, fiber and mixed media. Through her blend of computerized images, free-form embellishing, and her use of color, form and texture she transforms her dolls into canvasses of creativity and self expression.

Rosie also teaches doll making in workshops and on the internet.  Her teaching style reflects her belief that doll making can be a transforming and healing endeavor.  But most of all, her dolls and her workshops are about having fun and exploring your inner creative spirit.  Her dolls have been featured in several publications, exhibits and local, national and international shows.  Her work can be found for sale in local galleries and on the internet and she teaches workshops around the country each year.

Rosie is a member of: Texas Association of Original Doll Artists, Dollmakers of San Antonio, and The Gilded Lilies.
